Binyang White Crane Temple Bamboo Sea Tourist Resort is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

White Crane Temple is one of the eight famous scenic spots of ancient Binyang Prefecture. Built during the Song Dynasty, it has a history of nearly a thousand years and was once the most popular Buddhist and Taoist site in the region. The scenic area features rolling green peaks, circular mountain ranges, with turtle and elephant-shaped landforms at the front and crane ridges and plum hills at the back. With murmuring springs in quiet valleys, cascading streams and waterfalls, birdsong and floral fragrance, it has since ancient times been a spiritual retreat for Taoists to cultivate their minds and bodies, refine elixirs, and practice fasting, as well as a tourist destination for literati and high-ranking officials. The rebuilt and expanded White Crane Temple features magnificent halls and a spectacular presence, making it a great place for praying for blessings and sightseeing.

The White Crane Temple Bamboo Sea Eco-Tourism Resort centers around the thousand-year-old White Crane Temple. Themed around Chinese Taoist culture and bamboo culture, it includes functional areas such as Chinese Taoist cultural art, Chinese bamboo cultural art, landscape sightseeing, bamboo sea recreation, conferences, leisure, wellness, and vacation. Using the temple, bamboo sea, mountain springs, reservoirs, canyons, waterfalls, and folk tourism as carriers, it aims to become Guangxi’s largest large-scale eco-tourism and leisure resort, characterized by Chinese Taoist culture experiences, bamboo sea ecotourism, conference and leisure wellness vacations, bamboo sea exploration and mystery discovery, outdoor training, hiking, water recreation, bamboo cultural art research experiences, and bamboo cuisine culture.

Transportation Overview:

① The White Crane Temple Bamboo Sea Eco-Tourism Resort is 90 kilometers from Nanning, about a one-hour drive, and 8 kilometers from Binyang County. There are buses and light tricycles in the county that travel to and from the White Crane Temple scenic area. ② Out-of-town visitors can first travel to Binyang County and then transfer to the resort. Binyang County is 80 kilometers from Nanning, 80 kilometers from Guigang, and 150 kilometers from Liuzhou. Nanning Jinqiao Bus Station, Guigang Bus Terminal, and Liuzhou Bus Terminal operate direct express buses to Binyang County daily from 7:00 to 19:00.

③ Self-driving tourists from the Nanning direction can take the Nanning–Wuzhou secondary highway to Binyang County. Those traveling via the Nanning–Liuzhou expressway can exit at Gula and take the Hengxian–Binyang secondary highway for 18 kilometers to directly reach the White Crane Temple scenic area.
