Luomei Lotus Cave

Luomei Lotus Cave, located about 1 kilometer from Leye County, features a cave passage that extends in a narrow, S-shaped corridor from west to east. The cave is approximately 970 meters long, with the narrowest point about 10 meters wide, the widest around 50 meters, and a height ranging from 1.5 to 20 meters. The cave floor covers an area of over 20,000 square meters. Walking along the Lotus Pedestal pathway through the cave, you’ll encounter uniquely shaped stalagmites, hanging stalactites, and glittering stalagmites, columns, waterfalls, as well as variously shaped lotus pedestals, all beautifully illuminated under colorful lights—creating a breathtaking, otherworldly scene.

The lotus pedestals in Luomei Cave are truly unique, often stacked upon one another, with pedestals within pedestals, columns within pedestals, and even "trees" growing inside them—an endless display of wonders. In total, there are 296 large and small lotus pedestals in Luomei Cave, and when including the nested ones, the number exceeds 600, making it the largest group of lotus pedestals in the world. The "King of Lotus Pedestals" in the cave is exceptionally unique and exquisitely formed, measuring about 9 meters in length and 4.44 meters in width, and is recognized as the largest lotus pedestal in the world. The city of Baise has even prepared to insure it for 400 million yuan, which speaks volumes about its priceless value.
