Huomai Eco-Cultural Village

Huomai Eco-Cultural Village is a natural settlement in Yanglin Village, Tongle Town, Leye County. Located to the west of Tongle Town, it is 8 kilometers from the county seat, with convenient transportation, rich natural vegetation, and surrounded by dense primeval forests. The area is home to rare flora and fauna such as precious orchids, cycads, and flying squirrels, and enjoys a pleasant climate all year round. To the east are the Dacao Tiankeng, the world’s second-largest underground hall — the Red Rose Hall — as well as fantastical karst landscapes such as Feihu Cave, Tiger Cave, and Soul-Entrancing Cave. To the west, it borders the Chuandong Tiankeng Scenic Area. The summit of Guanyin Mountain near the village is an excellent spot for watching the sea of clouds and sunrise at dawn. Preserving its uniquely distinctive natural ecology and simple, rustic folk customs, it has become a new-style tourist destination integrating adventure, vacation, summer retreat, sightseeing, tourism, and conference reception. Huomai Village has drawn the favor of many literary writers and photographers, becoming a creative base for various artistic endeavors, including the Creation Base of Farmers’ Daily and the Guangxi Photographers’ Creation Base.
