Goose Mountain Park

Officially named Liuzhou’s “Goose Mountain Youth Park,” it is an ideal destination for young people to explore, seek adventure, and have fun. Major attractions in the park include the Goose Gate, the Cable Car Summit Ride, the Goose Mountain Laughing Buddha, the Liu Zongyuan Reading Cave, the Wind Pavilion, the Monkey Face Rock, the Summit Viewing Platform, the Carp Leaping Over the Dragon Gate, the Rhinoceros Gazing at the Moon, the Flute-Listening Pavilion, the Crown Pavilion, the Shooting Range, and other facilities such as the Comprehensive World Amusement Park.

Goose Mountain Park, located on the western side of Liuzhou City, is adjacent to Liuzhou Railway Station. Goose Mountain is the highest peak within the urban area of Liuzhou.

It is one of the scenic highlights of Liuzhou. The Tang Dynasty literary figure Liu Zongyuan left behind a five-character poem titled “Climbing Mount E of Liuzhou,” which has been recorded in his travel writings. In ancient times, people used the phrase “Goose Mountain and Liuzhou Waters” to depict the city’s landscape.
