Shazi Shiyan Tourist Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Shazi Shiyan Tourist Scenic Area is located in Shiyan Village, Sanmu Village, Shazi Township, covering a planned land area of 124.38 hectares (1,865 mu). The scenic area has rich tourism resources, including 8 main categories, 20 subcategories, 43 basic types, and 102 major individual tourism resources. The value of resource elements and the market value of the landscape meet the standards of a national AAA-level tourist attraction. Thanks to its excellent scenic conditions, well-maintained village appearance, and ecological agricultural industry, Shiyan has been honored as one of “Liuzhou’s Top Ten Beautiful Villages,” “Rong’an County’s First ‘Passionate Rongjiang’ Top Ten Charming Villages,” and a “Guangxi Three-Star Rural Tourism Area.”

Shiyan Village is located in Sanmu Village, Shazi Township, Rong’an County. To its east are natural karst limestone mountains, to the south flows the clear Shiyan River, to the west lies Baiyun Ridge, and behind the village stretches a thousand-mu orchard and economic forest. Shiyan Village in Shazi Township has a total of 126 households and 540 residents. It is an ancient village known for its beautiful mountains and rivers, picturesque scenery, and long history.

Upon entering Shiyan Village, the first thing that catches your eye is a stream that gushes out from a cave in the village and flows through the settlement. In the hot summer, the stream becomes a paradise for water buffaloes and children seeking relief from the heat. Through the clear waters, you can see fish chasing after aquatic plants. Following the stream’s flow, a stone bridge spans across it. Standing on the bridge and looking toward the banks, you’ll find rugged rocks, mysterious caves, and ancient trees towering along the shore. Under the old trees, several elderly villagers chat leisurely.

The village features stone constructions such as stone gates, stone walls, stone slabs, stone steps, stone platforms, stone piers, and stone arch bridges. At the foot of the mountain, there are naturally formed caves including Niuyan Cave, Baima Yan Cave, Longtangyan Cave, Goumiao Yan Cave, Changyan Cave, Zoubingyan Cave, Jingtangyan Cave, and Immortal’s Cave. The unique geological formations of Shiyan Village create extraordinary natural landscapes that amaze both visitors and experts.
