Luchi Zhou Ecological Agricultural Tourism Area is located to the south of Fushi Town, Rong’an County. It was honored as one of the “Top Ten Most Beautiful Villages in Liuzhou” in the first edition and served as a pilot site for the construction of a new socialist countryside in Rong’an County. In 2007, it was recognized as a National Agricultural Tourism Demonstration Site. The scenic area is 14 kilometers from the county town, surrounded by water on all sides, resembling a pearl inlaid in the Rong River. Covering an area of 1.2 square kilometers, it boasts over 400 acres of contiguous orchards. Its main specialties include pomelo, kumquat, Shatian pomelo, and preserved mustard tuber. Nearly every household in the village runs its own orchard, with courtyards built within the orchards and orchards nestled among the courtyards. Surrounded by green trees and the fragrance of fruits, it has long been known as the “Home of Fruits.” Over 80% of local households develop ecological agriculture based on the integrated model of “breeding – biogas – planting,” creating a beautiful ecological environment where humans and nature coexist in perfect harmony. Agritainment tourism started here in 2006, offering activities such as boat sightseeing, science education tours, rural charm experiences, farm stays, and fishing in the Rong River. Currently, there are 11 attractions including Rong River Scenery, Taiping Ancient Banyan, Millennium Divine Turtle, Pollution-Free Vegetable Eco-Demonstration Garden, Kumquat Orchard, Pomelo Orchard, Pomelo Orchard, and Agricultural Exhibition Hall. There are also 15 farmhouse inns with nearly 70 beds. These inns provide services such as dining, accommodation, camping and barbecuing, fishing, fruit picking, and board games. Tourists boating on the river can enjoy the undulating waves, feeling as if they are traveling through a painting. Strolling along the village paths, visitors are greeted by fresh air, a tidy environment, and simple, warm-hearted locals, making them feel relaxed and reluctant to leave. The Rong’an County Distance Education and Training Center is located on Luchi Zhou, equipped with multi-functional classrooms, meeting rooms, and guest rooms, capable of hosting training sessions for about 100 people.
