Hot Water Hollow

Hot Water Hollow is located at the southern foot of Huanghua Mountain, at the border between Beitu Township and Fulu Township. There are two natural hot springs here, with water gushing from rock fissures more than 1,100 meters deep. The water temperature reaches as high as 53°C, and there is a large pool at the spring outlet, which is why locals call it “Hot Water Hollow.” On August 30, 1988, it was jointly certified by the Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Light Industry as high-quality drinkable natural mineral water, with metasilicic acid content ranging from 39.0 to 46.8 mg/L, EH value between 7.0 and 7.4, and strontium content between 0.34 and 0.36 mg/L. It has met China’s national standards for drinkable natural mineral water. In addition to drinking, the radon content in the mineral water is 37.4 eman, also meeting the standards for therapeutic mineral water, showing great potential for development.
