Longhu Beach Tourist Resort

Longhu Beach is located in Hepu District, Shantou City, 27 kilometers from the city center. It is a natural beach for swimming. The name comes from the fact that the coastline resembles a tiger lying on the shore. The beach has clear water, soft white sand, and a gently sloping terrain. Due to the outward curve of the coastline, the area experiences strong winds and rough waves, making it an exciting yet safe spot for swimmers. It is one of the more thrilling beaches in the Shantou area and also an excellent location for windsurfing. In 1999, it was rated as a provincial-level tourist resort.

Opening hours:

9:00–18:00 (except during pool cleaning); the seawater pool is open 24 hours (except during pool cleaning, which occurs twice a week); the sea bathing area: generally, swimming is prohibited from 19:00 to 8:00 the next day.
