There are 86 sections with drops over 1 meter, and the longest artificial curved chute spans 66 meters. It is a self-guided rafting experience featuring twin inflatable rafts, offering the greatest drop, extreme thrill, and safety all in one, making it a paradise for thrill-seekers and adventurers. Nanjiang Town: Nanjiang Town is located in the northern part of Pingjiang County, at the junction of Hunan, Hubei, and Jiangxi provinces. It borders Yueyang County, Tongcheng County, and Xiushui County, and is 43 kilometers from the county seat, 98 kilometers from downtown Yueyang, and 37 kilometers from Tongcheng County. During the Qing Dynasty, the area was known as Nanjiang Township. In the Republican era, the Nanjiang District was established. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, it went through various administrative configurations including the Nanjiang Office, Nanjiang District, and Nanjiang Commune. In 1982, it was designated as a township-level town. In 1995, the current town was formed through the merger of the former Nanjiang Town, Nanjiang Township, Changjiang Township, and Shijiang Township, covering a catchment area of 196 square kilometers with a total population of 71,800.
