Lu Kou Museum
The Lu Kou Museum is an important component of the comprehensive cultural-tourism development project centered on the former residence of Yang Dezhi, and also the first museum in Lu Kou District.
The Lu Kou Museum has a construction area of about 3,200 square meters and includes three main exhibition halls: the Exhibition of Marshal Yang Dezhi’s Life and Achievements, the History and Culture of Lu Kou, and a Temporary Exhibition Hall. Red heritage and natural ecology complement each other, playing a positive role in promoting red historical culture, spreading revolutionary spirit, and boosting regional economic development.
The two exhibition halls—History and Culture of Lu Kou and Temporary Exhibition—are still under construction. The Exhibition of Marshal Yang Dezhi’s Life and Achievements is now open to the public, and visitors can tour it for free (masks are required and personal protection is advised). In addition, electronic guide facilities such as QR code audio guides are currently being improved and will soon be available for visitors.
Lu Kou Museum opening hours: From October 1 to April 30 (autumn and winter schedule), 9:00–17:00; from May 1 to September 30 (summer schedule), 9:00–18:00. Closed every Monday.
