Chaling Garlic is a geographical indication certification trademark.

　　The purple-skinned garlic of Chaling County, Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province, along with ginger and angelica, is known as the "Three Treasures of Chaling." It has been cultivated for over 400 years and was certified through a municipal science and technology project in June 2001. Chaling garlic is mainly grown in towns such as Huju, Pingshui, Lushui, Sicong, Mijiang, and Chengguan, with the main products being green garlic and garlic bulbs. These are harvested primarily between December and February of the following year, and from April to May, making it one of the off-season vegetable varieties in the region. Chaling focuses mainly on producing garlic bulbs. In addition to being used as a seasoning, it is mainly supplied as seed garlic or exported. In recent years, over 60 hectares of demonstration bases for the purification and rejuvenation of Chaling garlic have been established in Shikou Village, Pingshui Town, and Hualong Village, Sicong Township, significantly improving the quality of Chaling garlic seeds.
