Xianxi Town: Originally known as Xianxi Township in Anhua County, it was upgraded to a formal town in 1985, governing 22 villages and 1 neighborhood committee. In 1995, following district and township consolidation, Jiulong and Shankou Townships were merged into the town. The town now governs a total of 61 villages and 1 neighborhood committee. By the end of 2000, the total population was 45,104. The total area is 281.4 square kilometers, ranking second in the county.
