Meicheng Town: The People's Government of Meicheng Town, Anhua County, is located in the southeastern part of Anhua County, Yiyang City, adjacent to Loudi, Lianyuan, Lengshuijiang, Xinhua, and other cities and counties. It covers a total area of 186.2 square kilometers, governs 4 neighborhood committees and 61 villages, with a total population of 63,000. The built-up urban area spans 2.2 square kilometers, with an urban population of 22,000.

Meicheng Town is a historic and cultural town with a long history. From the fifth year of Emperor Xi Zong of the Song Dynasty (1072 AD) until the early years of the liberation, it served as the seat of the Anhua County government through successive dynasties.
