Kuixi Town: Overview of Kuixi Town
Kuixi Town is located in the northwest of the county, within the northern section of the Xuefeng Mountain range. It neighbors towns such as Yanxi, Malu, Cangchang, and Nanjin, and borders Xupu County and Yuanling County. The township of Kuixi was first established in 1956, upgraded to a commune in 1958, and the Muliu Commune was split off in 1961. In 1984, it was renamed Kuixi Township, and in 1995, Kuixi and Muliu townships were merged to form Kuixi Town. The total area is 242.24 square kilometers.
