Guochang Site

The Guochang Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Baokang County.

The Guochang Site is located 500 meters south of Guochang Village, Dianya Town, dating back to the Eastern Zhou Dynasty.

In 2012, it was designated as part of the third batch of county-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Baokang County.

Dianya Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Baokang County. It was transferred from Nanzhang County to Baokang County in 1949, became the Sixth District in 1951, was incorporated into Malang District in 1956, split off as Jianguo Commune in 1958, rejoined Malang District in 1962, split off again as Dianya Commune in 1975, renamed Dianya District in 1985, and established as Dianya Town in January 1988. It is located in the southeastern part of the county, covering an area of 136.5 square kilometers with a population of 18,000. The Baokang–Yichang Highway passes through the town.
