Qian'gang Shanxi-Shaanxi Guild Hall

The Qian'gang Shanxi-Shaanxi Guild Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Qian'gang Shanxi-Shaanxi Guild Hall

Located in Qian'gang, Xinxin Town, Zaoyang City. Its original construction date is unknown, but it was rebuilt during the Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty. Facing south and covering an area of 235 square meters, it features a traditional quadrangle layout. Currently, the rear hall and side rooms on both sides remain. The rear hall is three bays wide (11.4 meters) and one bay deep (6 meters), with a post-and-lintel timber frame, a single-eave flush-gable roof covered with gray tubular tiles; the side rooms are directly built on both sides of the main hall, sharing a largely similar structure, three bays wide (7.7 meters) and one bay deep (6 meters). This site was once an important place where the proletarian revolutionary Comrade Huang Huoqing conducted early revolutionary activities. (Fifth Batch)
