The Old House of Yangjiatang

The Old House of Yangjiatang is a cultural relic protection unit of Yichang City.

The Old House of Yangjiatang is located in Group 8, Gaoyan Village, Tucheng Township, and was included in the fourth batch of Yichang Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Units in 2011.

Gaoyan Village: Gaoyan Village

In August 2003, Gaoyan Village, Zhangshuiping Village, and Yangjiatang Village of Tucheng Township were merged into Gaoyan Village. It borders Hualishu Village, Sanjianxi Village, Xijiatang Village, Zhuping Village of Qiaobian Town, and Sandoupeng Town of Yiling District, covering a land area of 20.3 square kilometers. By the end of 2004, the village had 10 villager groups, 515 households, 1,612 residents, 690 laborers, and an average per capita rural income of 2,482 yuan. Major industries include vegetable, fruit, tea, silkworm, and pig farming.
