Nanzih is located southwest of Kaohsiung City. Its natural setting lies at the northern foot of Shoushan and Banpingshan, with the Nanzih Stream, Houjing Stream, and Dianbao Stream flowing through, offering a rich natural environment. Bring your family to explore Nanzih this weekend!

The water-friendly facilities along both banks of the Houjing Stream are complete. The riverside green corridor stretches 7.4 kilometers in total, starting from the Metropolitan Park and leading to Yuanzhong Harbor Wetland. Along the way, it passes by Delian Bridge, Yiqun Bridge, Youchang Bridge, the Xingzhong Water Control Gate, connects to Zhongxing Bridge, and reaches the river mouth. It’s a great spot for observing coastal ecology. Travelers can also visit the nearby Youchang area or the Ecological Lake at National Kaohsiung University, where well-developed water-friendly leisure facilities make it perfect for a holiday escape.

World Games Station is the first elevated station on the Red Line after it travels northward through Banpingshan from the south. It is close to the Zuoying Naval Base. The station's exterior design resembles a snow-white sailboat sailing through the green waves of Banpingshan, echoing the image of Kaohsiung as a harbor city. The floating, dreamy aerial rainforest gives the illusion of being in the Banpingshan Ecological Green Trail.

Covering an area of 17 hectares, Youchang Forest Park is located in Jiachang Li, Nanzih District. Due to its unique historical background, in addition to being richly planted with trees and featuring dug waterways, the park’s most distinctive feature is the establishment of a “remote-controlled aircraft” flying field and flight interpretation center. It is the only sports and leisure park in Kaohsiung with a flying theme and commemorative significance.
