Xingguo Generals' Park: Xingguo is the hometown of 56 founding generals of the People's Republic.

Xingguo Generals' Park is a classic red tourism destination and a patriotic education base.

During the Soviet Area period, out of Xingguo’s total population of 230,000, 93,000 joined the army and fought in battles, with over 50,000 sacrificing their lives for the nation. There were 23,179 named martyrs, and among those who died during the Long March, 12,038 were soldiers from Xingguo—nearly one soldier from Xingguo fell every kilometer.

The exhibition halls and main gate are designed in the shape of a sickle and axe, using photos, artifacts, and text to showcase the heroic deeds of the generals from Xingguo. The Generals' Square is planned along the route of the Long March and features a 5.2-meter-tall white marble statue of Chairman Mao Zedong, statues of Commander Zhu De and Marshal Chen Yi, as well as statues of 54 founding generals from Xingguo. Twelve unique rocks are engraved with the 12-part “Long March Suite” lyrics written by General Xiao Hua. The large group sculpture includes three military flag sculptures representing the “Xingguo Model Division of the Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army,” the “Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army Young Communist International Division,” and the “Chinese Workers’ and Peasants’ Red Army Central Guard Division”—units mainly composed of soldiers from Xingguo during the Agrarian Revolutionary War. The front of the sculpture depicts scenes from the five Anti-Encirclement Campaigns, while the back shows touching moments such as mothers sending sons, wives sending husbands, brothers competing to join the battlefield, and the awarding of the “Model Xingguo” banner by the Provisional Central Government to the people of Xingguo during the Agrarian Revolutionary War. The sculpture is 23.179 meters long, symbolizing the 23,179 named martyrs from Xingguo who sacrificed their lives in the revolutionary war, and 8.5 meters high, representing the 85,000 people from Xingguo who joined the fight at that time.
