The Three Gorges Home Scenic Area is located in Shipai Village, Sandouping Town, within the most fantastical and magnificent Xiling Gorge of the Yangtze River’s Three Gorges. It is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction, one of Hubei Province’s first civilized scenic tourism areas, one of Hubei’s Top Ten Scenic Spots, a Hubei Provincial Ecological Civilization Construction Demonstration Base, and an Hubei Provincial Advanced Unit for Opening Up to the Outside World.

The Three Gorges Home Scenic Area is situated in the most fantastical and magnificent Xiling Gorge of the Yangtze River’s Three Gorges, between the Three Gorges Dam and the Gezhouba Dam. It spans the beautiful Dengying Gorge on both banks, covering an area of 14 square kilometers.

Self-driving:

Visitors from Wuhan can drive via the Yemingzhu Expressway exit and Sanyoudong, then follow the Yichang–Lian (Tuo) Highway directly to the Three Gorges Home Scenic Area (with clear traffic signs along the way).

Distance: 30 km from downtown Yichang to the Three Gorges Home Scenic Area; 32 km from Yichang Railway Station to the scenic area; 43 km from Yichang Airport to the scenic area; 35 km from Yichang Port to the scenic area.

Public Transport:

In downtown Yichang, take bus No. 4 to “Three Gorges Tea City” or “22 Company Station.” There is a direct shuttle bus from Yiling Bus Terminal to the Three Gorges Home Scenic Area, running hourly from 7:00 to 17:00. The Yichang–Three Gorges Home 10-1 bus tour line will officially resume operation on May 29, with a full fare of 6 yuan. This line starts at Yiling Square and ends at Three Gorges Home, with the first bus at 6:20 and the last at 18:00. Buses run approximately every 45 minutes, with a full fare of 6 yuan (10 yuan for air-conditioned buses) and segmented pricing.

Shipai Village: Located in the eastern part of Sandouping Town, on the southern bank of Mingyue Bay at the first bend of the Three Gorges, Shipai Village is home to the Three Gorges Folk Village Scenic Area and the Yangjiaxi Military Rafting site.
