Wulong Fort

Wulong Fort is a cultural relic protection unit of Hubei Province.

Wulong Fort (Group 4, Baijiaping, Longquan Town, Yiling District, Yichang City).

Protected area: with the center of Wulong Fort as the base point, extending 50 meters eastward, 80 meters southward and northward respectively, and to the foot of the cliff westward.

Construction control zone: extending outward from the protected area — 80 meters eastward to the mountain-foot stream, 200 meters southward to the ancient locust tree on the opposite hill ridge, 60 meters westward to the foot of the opposite cliff, and 50 meters northward to the terraced fields at the mountain foot.

Baijiaping Village: I. Basic Information

The village is located west of Longquan Town, adjacent to Yichang Development Zone, and 15 kilometers from downtown Yichang. The total area of the village is 47 square kilometers, covering 5 villager groups with a population of 1,516 and 4 village cadres. The total area of paddy fields is 2,913 mu, and dry fields 286 mu. In 2006, the total output value of industry and agriculture reached 8.43 million yuan, with an average per capita net income of 3,495 yuan.

II. Infrastructure

Cement roads lead to all villager groups, and three-phase electricity is available in all residential areas.
