Eighteen-Turn Well

The Eighteen-Turn Well is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Hubei Province.

Eighteen-Turn Well

Located in Eighteen-Turn Village, Futu Town, Yangxin County. Built during the Jiajing era of the Ming Dynasty. Constructed from bluestone, it covers an area of 54 square meters. It has one main well and two auxiliary wells, with channels connecting the main well to the auxiliary ones. The well is exquisitely built and ingeniously designed, serving as an important physical relic for studying the lifestyle of ancient southeastern Hubei. (Fifth Batch)
