Dashigu Xingguo Temple

Dashigu Xingguo Temple is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhengzhou City.

Dashigu Xingguo Temple is located in the northwest of Dashigu Administrative Village, Guangwu Town, Xingyang City. It faces south with its back to the north. Currently, there is a main hall and a mountain gate. The main hall is five bays wide (14 meters), one bay deep (6 meters), and about 5.5 meters high, covering a construction area of approximately 90 square meters. It is a brick-and-timber structure with a flush gable roof. The front porch has original wooden pillars, and the eaves are decorated with painted patterns of deer, cranes, and flowers. The mountain gate has the same structure as the main hall, being three bays wide and one bay deep, with blue tiles on the roof. The temple currently houses an octagonal Buddhist scripture pillar from the 12th year of the Kaiyuan era of the Tang Dynasty (724), multiple Buddhist statues from the Song and Qing dynasties, as well as a collection of steles from the Qing and Republican periods.
