Wolongtai Fortress

Wolongtai Fortress is a cultural heritage site protected at the municipal level in Zhengzhou.

Wolongtai Fortress is located atop Xianxiao Mountain in Xianxiao Village, Huan cuiyu Administrative Village, Miaozizhen, Xingyang City. The fortress stretches 750 meters from north to south and about 250 meters from east to west. Its walls, built along the mountain slope using irregularly shaped bluestone blocks laid in a staggered pattern, extend 1,695 meters in total, forming a rectangular structure that is 7 meters high and 2 meters wide. It has three gateways—east, west, and southeast—all of which are stone arch passages. The east gate is relatively well-preserved, while the west and southeast gates are less intact. Each gate bears an inscription plaque dating back to the Xianfeng era of the Qing Dynasty. The stone fortress remains in good condition overall.
