Langfang City Gymnasium

Langfang City Gymnasium is located at the junction of the urban area and the development zone. It is the only formal comprehensive sports venue in Langfang City. Currently open to the public, it offers a variety of fitness activities including table tennis, badminton, basketball, volleyball, and billiards.

The gymnasium can host various large-scale events such as sporting competitions, cultural performances, and commercial exhibitions. It has organized more than twenty major cultural and sports activities, including the 3rd and 4th Langfang City Sports Games, the 5.18 and 10.18 Economic and Trade Fairs, the China-Japan Martial Arts Sanda King Competition, the China-Australia Basketball Challenge, and the Cui Jian Concert. It is an important part of the Langfang City Sports Center, situated southwest of the center, west of Heping Road and south of Beihuan Road. Covering an area of eighty acres, the main hall has a construction area of 8,300 square meters, with 3,200 fixed seats and 520 movable seats. It is equipped with advanced lighting, sound, video, and central air conditioning systems. Outside the hall, there is a fitness area of over 6,000 square meters and a large parking lot spanning 12,000 square meters. After renovation, the sound amplification system inside Langfang City Gymnasium is also top-tier. Additionally, the system adopts a decentralized layout of 48 long-throw speakers and a mobile sound reinforcement system.

Langfang City Gymnasium is also a multifunctional sports venue. During its design, key considerations included audience area sound reinforcement, competition field sound reinforcement, background music, and mobile performance sound systems. Each system within the venue can be controlled individually or managed collectively. Even the mobile and fixed sound systems can be quickly integrated into one unified sound system through on-site mixing positions, ensuring the smooth execution and enhanced quality of various large-scale cultural performances, sporting events, and other major activities. Visiting Langfang City Gymnasium is like attending a high-level performance.
