The Houliangjian Mosque was first built in the mid-Ming Dynasty, with a history of over 500 years. The original main hall featured a metal copper dome, and a sandalwood plaque inscribed with “Upholding Antiquity and Rectitude” hung in front of the hall. Four ancient pine and cypress trees, vigorous and lush, stand as historical witnesses.

In 1997, the mosque was rebuilt with joint investment from the government and the Muslim community. The main hall covers an area of 225 square meters and can accommodate over 400 worshippers. Three 20-meter-high moon-viewing towers standing atop the main hall are majestic. The painted gable walls and colorful glazed tiles, along with the classic-style gate tower, contribute to the harmonious and serene beauty of the entire complex.
