Bazhou Museum

Bazhou Museum is located at the intersection of National Highway 106 (Yijin Road) and Yingbin East Road, facing the Yingbin Building across the way. It is one of the landmark buildings in the development of Bazhou as a cultural city. The project took one year to complete, with a total investment of nearly 200 million yuan, and was put into use in October 2008. The museum covers an area of 55,036 square meters, including a construction area of 38,887 square meters and a square area of 48,746 square meters. The square on the north side of the museum is a vibrant, modern ecological plaza that integrates green landscaping, ancient coin motifs, unique rock formations, a lake landscape, and lighting features.

The entire square is paved with large granite slabs. The western part of the square features a green ecological garden landscape. Elements such as small plazas, stone benches, and ground-engraved lamps complement the scenic Yijin Road boulevard. On the eastern side of the square is an ecological water feature lake, where lotus flowers, irises, and other aquatic plants are widely planted. Various uniquely shaped rocks are placed along the lakeside, adding a refined and cultural touch. At the center of the square is a design modeled after the Zhou Yuan Tong Bao coin (symbolizing the historical origins and renewal of Bazhou), with an ancient spring at its core. A pool of "mirror-like water" in the heart of the spring reflects the majestic museum and surrounding scenery under sunlight and colorful lights, creating a harmonious and delightful atmosphere.

The museum complex consists of several collections, including the China Folk Collections Museum, History Museum, Science and Technology Museum, China Bicycle Museum, and Urban Planning Exhibition Hall. It has a six-story frame structure, with five above-ground floors covering a construction area of 32,357 square meters and one underground floor covering 6,530 square meters.
