Ruzhou Magic Slope Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Magic Slope Cultural Park Scenic Area is located within the Fengxue Temple National Forest Park, 9 kilometers northeast of Ruzhou City, Henan Province, and 2 kilometers from the Fengxue Temple, a national key cultural relics protection unit and a thousand-year-old ancient temple. The scenic area consists of three sections: the Magic Slope, Bamboo Forest Temple, and Jade Emperor Mountain, where cultural heritage and natural landscapes complement each other. The area boasts towering pagodas, majestic halls, surrounded by mountains, lush cypresses, and flowing springs, creating a picturesque landscape that combines grandeur, beauty, and wonder. It encompasses mountains, forests, water, caves, and temples, offering a multifunctional tourist destination for leisure, sightseeing, vacationing, and exploring the mysterious. Among its highlights, the Sister Magic Slopes are the iconic attraction of the Magic Slope Cultural Park, with the main slope stretching 126 meters in a naturally continuous loop—ranked first in China. On the Magic Slope, you don’t need to pedal uphill on a bike, and a car can coast even with the engine off—it’s almost impossible to stop intentionally. The mysterious phenomenon of the thorny bushes in Zhugou Village lacking hooks near the Magic Slope has attracted numerous domestic and international tourists eager to uncover its secrets. Some say it’s a “gravity displacement,” others suggest a “geomagnetic phenomenon,” and some attribute it to an “optical illusion.” Opinions vary, adding an air of mystery to the Magic Slope.
