The Ruzhou Celadon Museum serves as a patriotic education base.

The Ruzhou Celadon Museum is located within the Wenmiao (Confucian Temple) complex in Ruzhou City. Its establishment was initiated in 1983, and the museum officially opened to the public in December 1985 with an inauguration ceremony presided over by renowned Chinese ceramics experts Feng Xianming and An Jinhuai. It is currently the only professional museum in China that integrates the collection, research, and exhibition of Ru celadon.

The Ruzhou Celadon Museum currently features four main permanent exhibitions: The first exhibition hall displays ceramic shard specimens unearthed from various Ru kiln sites in Ruzhou City, as well as porcelain pieces replicated in different periods since the founding of the People’s Republic of China; the second exhibition hall showcases premium Ru celadon pieces produced by various Ru celadon manufacturers, along with exquisite ceramics from major kilns across China; the third exhibition hall mainly exhibits the famous calligraphy masterpiece “Ruzhi Steles,” hailed as a “treasure of the Song Dynasty”; the fourth exhibition hall features replicas of eighteen types of surviving official Ru celadon wares.
