Site of Kang Street

The Site of Kang Street is a cultural heritage protection unit of Ruzhou City.

The Site of Kang Street is located in Kang Street Village, Zhifang Town, Ruzhou City. Dating back to the Han Dynasty, it is classified as an ancient site.

The Site of Kang Street is among the fourth batch of cultural heritage protection units in Ruzhou City, officially designated on November 14, 2017.

Protected Area: The cultural heritage protection marker is located on the north side of the intersection where the north-south rural road meets the water plant, slightly to the east. It extends 445 meters east to the vicinity of a well, 300 meters west to the cliff on the eastern bank of Huangjian River, 975 meters south to the vicinity of a well along Qianshi Line, and 25 meters north to the vicinity of a well. Kang Street Village (approximately 525 meters north-south and 400 meters east-west, covering an area of 210,000 square meters) is not currently included within the protected area of the Site of Kang Street.

Construction Control Zone: A buffer zone of 50 meters extending outward from the boundary of the protected area is designated as the construction control zone.
