Dahongzhai in Xuchang is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Introduction: Located on the northwestern border of Yuzhou, its main peak stands at an elevation of 1,156 meters, making it the highest mountain in Xuchang and known as the "Roof of Xuchang." Standing atop the summit and looking around, you can see valleys crisscrossing in all directions, surrounded by ranges of mountains with overlapping peaks and lush greenery, presenting a spectacular view. Not far to the east of the main peak, there are also the sharp and steep Zhaimolou and the broad, flat Keladuo. Within the embrace of these three peaks, from west to east, there are over 30 scenic spots including the Water Curtain Cave, Golden Turtle Emerging from the Sea, Rooster Peak, and Guanyin Rock. These attractions either hang high on cliffs, are tucked away within forests, lie nestled in valleys, or stand atop towering peaks. As you walk through the area, the scenery changes at every step, offering endless variations that keep visitors enthralled.
