Zhu Ge Temple

Zhu Ge Temple is a municipal-level cultural heritage site in Xuchang.

Zhu Ge Temple is located north of Da Miao Village, Zhu Ge Town, Yuzhou City, and dates back to the Ming and Qing dynasties.

On June 19, 2009, Zhu Ge Temple was designated as part of the third batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Xuchang.

Protected area: extends 100 meters east, west, and north from the outer wall of the main hall, and 150 meters south.

Zhu Ge Town: Located three kilometers north of Yuzhou City, Zhu Ge Township administers 29 administrative villages, has a population of 43,000, and covers 68,000 mu of arable land. The under-construction "Xuchang–Dengfeng" expressway and the central route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project run through the area, providing convenient transportation. It is a typical suburban agricultural township focused on crop farming, animal husbandry, and processing industries.
