Dongding Ancestral Temple is located in Heying Village, Goulin Town, Dengzhou City. It was first built during the Song Dynasty, flourished in the Ming Dynasty, but was largely destroyed due to warfare. In 1994, with approval from the municipal government, the temple was restored. Current structures include the main gate, Laojun Hall, Ancestral Temple, Parents’ Hall, Fortune-Turning Hall, and corridor rooms, covering an area of over 50 acres. It is a well-known Taoist sacred site in the region.

Heying Village: Heying Village is located 2 kilometers south of Goulin Town. The village comprises 10 natural villages, 16 villager groups, with a total of 1,015 households, a population of 4,773, and cultivated land spanning 9,487 mu. There are two primary schools, employing 22 faculty members and serving 527 students.
