Xixinbao Orchid Ecological Park Xixinbao Village is located 5 kilometers southwest of Tumutown government seat. It lies in a river valley, bordered by the Daqin Railway to the north and Guanting Lake to the south. This year, it initiated a 480-mu ecological agriculture sightseeing park project. A renowned design firm was hired to develop the master plan. So far, 1,700 trees such as prune, crabapple, and grape have been planted, and the park’s two main roads—east-west and north-south—have been paved and hardened. The village plans to establish the largest orchid cultivation base in Zhangjiakou region within the sightseeing park. An agreement has already been signed with the developer, and it is expected that a 2,500-square-meter intelligent greenhouse will be completed by the end of the year.
