Beizong Huangjiu Lavender Manor

After three months of meticulous planning and careful arrangements, and through the hard work and attentive management of all staff members, the long-awaited Beizong Huangjiu Lavender Manor in Zhangjiakou has finally opened today.

The opening of the Beizong Huangjiu Lavender Manor signifies another beautiful attraction for the flourishing tourism scene in Huailai County, offering visitors from Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, and across the country an excellent new destination for sightseeing and leisure. Currently the largest and most picturesque lavender garden in the Zhangjiakou area, the manor spans 56 acres and is the perfect place for tourism, relaxation, wedding photography, and family fun. It also features the Beizong Huangjiu Health Cuisine Restaurant, making it an ideal spot for vacation wellness. Here, you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoy tranquility and peace. With convenient transportation—located on the west side of the South Tourism Avenue in Shacheng Town, Huailai County—this is a haven where bees flutter and butterflies dance, perfect for romance and enjoying the charm of love. It is a sea of purple, a world of flowers, with a rich fragrance that refreshes the soul and an enchanting ambiance that captivates the heart.

Lavender belongs to the mint family, Lamiaceae, and the genus Lavandula. Originally native to the Mediterranean coast, various parts of Europe, and the islands of Oceania, it was later widely cultivated in the UK and Yugoslavia. With its elegant leaf shapes and flower colors, and its slender and graceful blue-violet flower spikes, lavender is a new type of perennial, cold-resistant flowering plant suitable for garden planting—either in clusters or rows—or for potted ornamental use. Lavender was already a fairly common herb during the Roman era and is known as the “queen of herbs” due to its numerous beneficial properties.

Lavender has been widely used in medicine since ancient times. Both its stems and leaves are medicinal, offering benefits such as improving digestion, inducing perspiration, and relieving pain. It is an effective remedy for colds, abdominal pain, and eczema. Lavender essential oil, extracted from the plant, helps clear heat and toxins, cleanse the skin, regulate oil production, fade spots and whiten skin, reduce wrinkles and rejuvenate skin, and eliminate eye bags and dark circles. It also promotes the regeneration and recovery of damaged tissues, offering various skincare benefits. The oil can purify and soothe the mind, alleviate feelings of anger and exhaustion, helping one to face life with a calm demeanor. It has a calming effect on the heart, can lower high blood pressure, soothe palpitations, and is highly beneficial for insomnia. It is one of the best essential oils for pain relief, effectively easing muscle spasms and providing good relief for sprains, muscle overuse, and rheumatic pain.
