Relics of the Xinqiao Battle

The relics of the Xinqiao Battle are a cultural heritage protection unit of Hebei Province.

The relics of the Xinqiao Battle date back to 1948 and are located in Xinqiao Town, Huailai County, Zhangjiakou City. On October 20, 2008, they were designated as part of the fifth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People's Government of Hebei Province.

Xinqiao Town: Xinqiao Town is located in the western part of Huailai County. It lies to the east of Beijing and to the west of Zhangjiakou, and is also close to the county seat. The Beijing–Zhangjiakou Expressway, National Highway 110, and the Beijing–Baotou Railway all run through the town. The town covers an area of 66.9 square kilometers (100,350 mu), with cultivated land spanning 17,700 mu. It governs 23 street villages and one neighborhood committee, with a registered population of 11,286 households and 23,286 people.
