Beiguanbao Village, Yu County Beiguanbao Village, Yu County is the largest of the "Three Forts" in Nuanquan Ancient Town, a renowned historical and cultural town in China. Initially built in the early Ming Dynasty, it has a history of nearly 700 years. The well-preserved grand hip-and-gable style fortress gate tower still stands, and the smaller Lujia Fort within the main fort creates a distinctive "fort-within-a-fort" layout. This village is also the birthplace of the nationally famous ancient cultural heritage known as "Tree Flower Beating." In August 2015, Beiguanbao Village was awarded the title of "China's Model Village for Rural Tourism" by the National Tourism Administration.
