Dongpo Site in Yu County
The Dongpo Site in Yu County is a cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province.
The Dongpo Site in Bailue Town, eastern Yu County, has a history of over 6,000 years. It is a key cultural relic protection unit of Hebei Province, located on the foothills to the right of the Jinhegou entrance. Situated on the Dongpo landform, it is thus named the Dongpo Site. Bordered by the Sha River to the west and hills to the east, it belongs to the Neolithic Yangshao Culture remains, proving that humans inhabited this area 6,000 years ago.
