The Nuanquan Pawnshop is a cultural heritage protection unit of Hebei Province.

The Nuanquan Pawnshop is an ancient building from the Qing Dynasty, located on Meishi Street in Nuanquan Town, Yu County, Zhangjiakou City. On October 20, 2008, it was designated as part of the fifth batch of Provincial Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People’s Government of Hebei Province.

Nuanquan Town: Located at the westernmost edge of Yu County, bordering Guangling County of Shanxi Province, Nuanquan Town is 12.4 kilometers away from the county seat. It is a typical northern town with an agriculture-based economy. At an elevation of 940 meters, it covers an area of 57.3 square kilometers, governs 16 administrative villages, and has a population of 6,538 households and 17,762 people. The town has 34,500 mu of arable land, including 12,350 mu of irrigated land, mainly planted with millet, coarse grains, and corn.
