The Changshendi Opera House in Chicheng County is a provincial-level cultural heritage protection unit in Hebei Province.

The Changshendi Opera House in Chicheng County is located in Changshendi Village, Houcheng Town, Chicheng County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. On February 14, 2018, it was designated as part of the Sixth Batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Hebei Province.

The opera house in Changshendi Village in the southern part of Chicheng County features gable brick carvings with diamond-shaped sunflower motifs and edging adorned with sunflower petals. Inside the petals is a carving of a lion rolling a ball. The lion is depicted with its head lowered and tail raised, bulging eyes, a protruding nose, curly hair arranged in a topknot that flares outward on both sides, stiff whiskers standing upright, and a mane spread out around its neck, fanning out from the spine to the tip of the tail in a beaded pattern. One of the lion’s back paws is kicking backward while the other is lifted up, and both front paws are engaged in playfully interacting with the ball. A ribbon runs through the center of the ball, fluttering to either side of the lion’s body. This brick carving piece boasts a concise composition, smooth carving technique, and carries an artistic flair reminiscent of meticulous brushwork paintings.
