The former site of Xihéyíng Normal School in Yu County is located on Hongqi Street, Xihéyíng Town, Yu County, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province. On February 14, 2018, it was designated as part of the sixth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Hebei Province.

Xihéyíng Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Yu County. It was established as Xihéyíng Town in 1953, reorganized as a commune in 1958, and reinstated as a town in 1984. In 1996, it absorbed Qijiāzào and Běixǐyì, two former townships. Located in the central part of the county, it covers an area of 140.32 square kilometers and has a population of 47,000.
