Haiyang Yunding Natural Scenic Tourist Area is a national AA-level tourist attraction.

Haiyang Yunding Natural Scenic Tourist Area is located to the west of Dazhuang Village, Panshidian Town, Haiyang City, at the northern foot of Zhao Hu Mountain.

Here, surrounded by mountains, towering ancient trees, fresh air, numerous springs with clear water, and lush bamboo groves thrive. The surrounding 4,800 acres of mountainous land maintain an excellent ecological environment, teeming with nearly a thousand species of flora and fauna. Particularly astonishing is that over 500 acres of lush bamboo grow here. According to forestry experts, the origin of this northernmost large bamboo forest is unknown. However, a bamboo forest of such scale at 37° north latitude is extremely rare in the world.

Haiyang Yunding Natural Scenic Tourist Area connects more than 30 scenic spots across two major areas via a 5-kilometer tourist road and a 7-kilometer pedestrian trail. With its unique ecological environment and climatic conditions, it has formed a rich natural ecosystem and diverse landscape types. The bamboo forest is located on the southern side of Yunding Natural Scenic Tourist Area. From a distance, it presents distinct layers and a well-balanced density. Strolling through it makes you feel as if you are one with nature.

The scenic area boasts beautiful landscapes and a continuous array of attractions. It offers comprehensive supporting facilities, including wild game barbecues and fast-food restaurants for dining, and “jungle cabins” for accommodation. No matter when you visit throughout the year, you’ll find it an enchanting experience.

Several bus routes run daily from the city to the scenic area, and during holidays, free shuttle buses are available for tourists.

Panshidian Town: Located on the coast of the Yellow Sea, Panshidian Town lies 15 kilometers northeast of Haiyang City center, approximately 100 kilometers from Yantai, Weihai, and Qingdao. The Xingyu Line runs through the town. Covering a total area of 138 square kilometers, it has a population of 33,000 and governs 41 administrative villages.

The town features picturesque landscapes with beautiful natural scenery. Yunding Natural Scenic Tourist Area, nestled in the heart of Zhao Hu Mountain, showcases layers of pine and bamboo, steep mountains, and crystal-clear waters.
