The Nainiang Mountain Scenic Area within the village features rolling mountains, undulating peaks, lush valleys, and picturesque natural scenery. Major attractions include Seven Peaks in a Row, Tiger Cave, Dragon Claw, Tiger Cave, and Cherry Valley. It is one of the largest areas in China’s Jiaodong region dedicated to the worship of Mazu and activities of the Quanzhen School. Taoist structures such as the Heavenly Queen Mother Palace and Haotian Palace are nestled against mountains and near water, creating a fairyland-like atmosphere. More than ten Quanzhen disciples led by Taoist Priest Xuyang from Beijing’s Baiyunguan oversee the monastery and preach here. The site annually hosts the “Two Festivals and One Celebration” (Temple Fair, Taoist Assembly, and Spring Festival) at the Heavenly Queen Mother Palace, featuring vibrant performances of Yangko dance and Lüju opera. The site enjoys flourishing incense offerings and attracts numerous visitors and devotees, with peak visitor numbers reaching tens of thousands during holidays and temple fairs. Leveraging its resource advantages, the village has vigorously developed eco-agriculture and eco-tourism, establishing 12 family inns, farmhouse lodgings, and fruit-picking gardens. It also offers distinctive tourism products such as Laihu ginseng and wild vegetables, forming a nascent agritainment and leisure destination.
