Shanshang Lijia Village is located at the foot of Wuyun Mountain, 8 kilometers west of Zhaoyuan City. It currently has 296 households, a population of 953, and cultivates 1,620 mu of arable land, including 300 mu of cherries, 200 mu of apples, and 200 mu of chestnuts. The village has well-connected roads, with Provincial Highway 304 running right along its northern edge. Traveling east for 8 kilometers leads into downtown Zhaoyuan, while heading west for 6 kilometers takes you to the entrance of the Weiwu Expressway. Shanshang Lijia Village has pursued a diversified development strategy, successively establishing the Wuyun Mountain Chemical Plant, Rare and Precious Metals Co., Ltd., Leixin Gold Machinery Co., Ltd., and Yangxinhongrui Textile Products Co., Ltd. These enterprises currently employ 500 workers, with fixed assets amounting to 96 million yuan and total annual revenue reaching 110 million yuan. In recent years, the village has been honored with titles such as “Civilized Village,” “Red Flag Unit,” “Advanced Grassroots Party Organization,” and “Model Village Committee” by higher-level government departments. In 1995, Shanshang Lijia Village pioneered the development of a cherry plantation base covering 300 mu, primarily cultivating varieties such as Hongdeng, Lapins, and Ukraine. Its registered brand “Yantai Jindu Cherries” is renowned for early harvest, large size, sweet flavor, firm flesh, and excellent taste. To diversify its industry and promote multifaceted development, since 2008 the village has vigorously developed agritainment and fruit-picking tourism. Over the years, it has built a complete system of rural picking and farm stay services, earning widespread acclaim from tourism authorities. In 2011, Shanshang Lijia Village was designated as a Shandong Province Tourism Characteristic Village. The village’s fruit-picking activities mainly attract visitors through self-drive tours to the orchards for on-site harvesting. In recent years, during harvest season, visitors from within and outside the province, as well as locals, have come in an endless stream to pick, buy, and transport cherries. The Donghegou Reservoir and Nangou Reservoir within the village provide designated fishing areas where tourists can enjoy the pleasure of countryside angling. The unique Wuyun Mountain Guesthouse offers distinctive lodging, while the naturally temperature-regulated Wuyun Mountain Cave provides a cool summer retreat and warm winter shelter, ensuring healthy and high-quality accommodation and dining services. To create a convenient and pleasant rural tourism environment, the village has established a dedicated management body to oversee every aspect and ensure smooth coordination. All major roads inside and outside the village have been paved, lined with tall pine trees and lush cypresses. The roadside villas have been freshly painted, garbage is properly disposed of in bins and centrally treated, and the entire village enjoys a unified water supply with purified drinking water. The village also houses three uniquely themed farm restaurants, offering distinctive rural cuisine.

For travelers from Weihai or Yantai: Take the Rongwu Expressway, exit at Exit 6, drive straight for about 15 minutes after exiting, and enter the village upon seeing the “Shanshang Lijia” stone tablet.

For travelers from Qingdao: Take the Yanqing First-Class Highway, pass through Laixi, turn onto Huangshui Road, then turn left at the “Tiandi Jinhun” sculpture. Continue straight along Hot Spring Road, turn into Wensan Line via Golden Pavilion, drive straight for 10 minutes, and enter the village upon seeing the “Shanshang Lijia” stone tablet.

For travelers from Jinan: Take the Jiqing Expressway, transfer to the Weilai Expressway, then to the Rongwu Expressway, and exit at Zhaoyuan West (Exit 6). Drive straight for about 18 minutes after exiting, and enter the village upon seeing the “Shanshang Lijia” stone tablet.
