KAILAS (kailas) expands with 200 new climbing routes for avid climbers
In this new round of the KAILAS (kailas) Rock Quest China activities, the team is committed to developing climbing routes, sharing experience, exchanging techniques, and spreading values. In addition to opening high-quality climbing routes, they will also continue the highly acclaimed Climbers' Gathering events from the past three years. This platform will be used to share ideas on climbing techniques, safety, and environmental protection, inspiring more people to take up the sport of climbing.
Kailas (凯乐石) Rock Quest China – Guangdong Station
Shitan Town, Qingyuan City
This is a return visit for Rock Quest China. The first stop of the original Rock Quest China, the Yingxi Station, was just 20 kilometers away from Shitan Town. In just a few short years, the rapid development of climbing in the Pearl River Delta region and the growing climbing community have exhausted the existing climbing resources. Thanks to the efforts of multiple parties, the massive rock faces in Shitan are about to become a new climbing destination in the Pearl River Delta.

Kailas (凯乐石) Rock Quest China – Shandong Station
Diaohuayu and Shimaying Climbing Areas, Zibo City
Zibo is located in central Shandong. Currently, the main areas where climbers in Shandong are concentrated include Qingdao, Yantai, Jinan, and Zibo. The development of climbing areas in Zibo will create the most densely concentrated and diverse grade range of climbing routes in the province, thereby promoting climbing activities among climbers in Shandong and surrounding regions.

Kailas (凯乐石) Rock Quest China – Liaoning Station
Xiaoheishan Mountain and other locations, Dalian
The Xiaoheishan Station is the second Rock Quest China activity in the Northeast following the 2014 Anshan-Benxi Station. In the Northeast, where natural rock climbing resources are scarce, we will work together with local climbers to provide more nearby options and climbing opportunities. The Xiaoheishan climbing area will offer a large number of beginner-friendly routes for climbers in Dalian and surrounding areas.

Kailas (凯乐石) Rock Quest China – Guangxi Station
Beiliu Rock Area, Guangxi Province
The Beiliu Rock Area is a rare location where both sandstone and limestone coexist. There are already approximately 50 sport climbing routes and over ten traditional climbing routes established. The traditional climbing area is just 10 km from downtown Beiliu, offering very convenient access, with cracks of various sizes perfect for traditional climbing. The area is widespread and has great potential for the development of a significant number of both traditional and sport climbing routes.
