The Eastern City Horse Relay Gate Ruins is a cultural heritage protection unit of Shandong Province.

The Eastern City Horse Relay Gate Ruins are located in Wangfu Subdistrict, Qingzhou City. Dating from the Northern Wei Dynasty to the Qing Dynasty, the site was designated as part of the fourth batch of provincial-level cultural heritage protection units by the People’s Government of Shandong Province in 2013.

Wangfu Subdistrict: Located in the central-western part of Qingzhou City, Wangfu Subdistrict is home to the municipal Party committee and government of Qingzhou. Covering a total area of 143.5 square kilometers, it currently administers 18 communities and 83 administrative villages, with a population of 117,000 and arable land of 39,000 mu. As the seat of the municipal Party committee and government, it is also the political, economic, and cultural center of the city. In 2007, Qingzhou City carried out an administrative division adjustment, which included the revocation of Wuli Town and the incorporation of its former administrative region into Wangfu Subdistrict.
