Lujia Site

The Lujia Site is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Lujia Site is located in Lujia Village, Hujizhen Town, Huimin County. In mid-July 1990, villagers discovered the site while digging a fish pond.

Stone tools, pottery, bone artifacts, and other specimens collected from the Lujia Site exhibit distinct characteristics of the Longshan Culture. Stone artifacts include stone axes, adzes, and shovels, with the adzes being fully polished and featuring sharp blades. The pottery is mostly polished black pottery, including black pottery gui vessels, pottery jars, pottery plates, and spinning whorls. Bone artifacts include neatly crafted bone awls. In June 1992, it was designated as part of the second batch of provincial-level cultural heritage sites.
