Hongtansi Forest Park is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a cultural tourism site.

Hongtansi Forest Park is located on the Luobei Plain, in the central part of Dezhou region, within Linzi Town of Linyi County, 9 kilometers from the county seat and 50 kilometers west of Dezhou City. It is a comprehensive eco-agricultural development park integrating sightseeing, tourism, catering, entertainment, commerce, vacationing, and agricultural development. The park covers an area of 24,027 mu and mainly consists of six areas: the Tourism Service Area, Yuhu Recreation Area, Hongtan Vacation Area, Reed Sea Scenic Area, Sightseeing Greenery Area, and Ecological Sightseeing Farming Area. The park harmoniously blends cultural and natural landscapes, featuring beautiful scenery and a serene environment.

In the agricultural science and technology area, visitors can view orchards, traditional Chinese medicine cultivation bases, flower and seedling nurseries, and explore agricultural product plantations. Guests can also freely choose their favorite potted plants, flowers, fruits, vegetables, and more. Although prices are not low, the focus is on freshness and health, allowing visitors to enjoy the pleasure of picking their own produce.

The Yuhu Scenic Area features sparse woods and dense land, creating landscapes with large bodies of water and forested areas, and offering a variety of water-based activities. The water scenery is picturesque, with options for boating, lake viewing, and picnic areas. Additionally, the park’s Reed Sea Scenic Area boasts vast expanses of lush reeds, forming a uniquely charming reed landscape. The Sightseeing Greenery Area, based on the framework of the Xudian Forest Farm, is dedicated to afforestation. Visitors can release wildlife here, observe ground cover plants, and enjoy the distinctive scenery that lifts the spirits.

Linzi Town: Linyi County's Linzi Town is situated on the northwest Luobei Plain, 9 kilometers north of Linyi County’s county seat. The Linnan Road (Linyi County–Nanpi, Hebei, aka Provincial Highway 249), Linjian Road, and Sutian Road all intersect and run through the town, connecting to National Highway 104. It neighbors Liyu Road as well as the railway and the Beijing–Fuzhou Expressway’s Jide section, integrating with the transportation networks of the entire province and the country. To the south is Jinan Yaoqiao Airport, 55 kilometers from Jinan City; to the north is Beijing, 350 kilometers away; and to the northwest is Dezhou City, 50 kilometers distant.
