The Guanzheng Jiulong Mountain Scenic Area is located in Guanzheng Village, Xueye Town, approximately 40 kilometers northwest of Laiwu City. The area borders Jinan to the north, Tai’an to the west, Zibo to the east, and is adjacent to the Qilu Grand Canyon Tourist Zone. It boasts abundant tourism resources, integrating mountains, water, forests, caves, waterfalls, springs, unique peaks, and peculiar rocks, all of which are of high quality.

Key features include “Nine Mountains, Nine Valleys, Two Caves, and One Lake.” Jiulong Mountain is crisscrossed with ravines and characterized by long, high valleys, with the highest peak reaching 894 meters above sea level. It earned its name from nine towering peaks—Jade Dragon Mountain, Azure Dragon Mountain, Coiling Dragon Mountain, Reclining Dragon Mountain, Golden Dragon Mountain, Heavenly Dragon Mountain, and others—that rise majestically and twist like nine immense dragons. The Tongtian Grand Canyon stretches 15 li in length; Xuantian Valley is about 200 meters deep and roughly 10 li long; Wolong Valley reaches a depth of around 300 meters. In addition, there are nearly 100 natural and cultural attractions, such as the Fairy Cave, Chenjian Cave, Swan Lake, Monk’s Stone, and the ruins of an anti-Japanese munitions factory.

Due to the area’s high mountains, deep valleys, and dense forests, the region retains an untouched, wild landscape with abrupt peaks and rugged ravines. Deep within the secluded mountains and ancient woodlands, visitors can still experience the pristine beauty of nature. The forest is tranquil and the environment serene, with flowers blooming three seasons of the year, filling the air with their fragrance. This makes the scenic area an ideal destination for activities such as rock climbing, exploration, and scientific research, as well as for enjoying blooming flowers, listening to mountain streams, exploring historic sites, and delving into rich cultural heritage.

Xueye Subdistrict: Located in Laiwu District, Laiwu City, Xueye Town was formed in January 2001 through the merger of the former Shangyou, Xueye, and Luye towns. The town lies in the northern mountainous region of Laiwu City, bordering Zhangqiu to the north and Zibo to the east, and is situated at the strategic site of the ancient Jinyang Pass. It is blessed with abundant natural resources and talented people, and enjoys convenient transportation. Roads such as the Laiming Highway, Zhonglin Highway, 09 Highway, and Puxue Highway intersect across the town. The total area of the town is 223 square kilometers, with 36,000 mu of arable land and 119,800 mu of forested mountain land suitable for afforestation. It governs 49 administrative villages with a population of 46,460.
