Jinan Xiangshan Tourist Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Jinan Xiangshan Tourist Area is located in Dawangzhuang Town in the northwest of Laiwu District, Jinan City, covering an area of 53 square kilometers. Provincial highways 244 and 243 run along both sides, while Wanghuai Road stretches east-west, offering convenient transportation and a prime location.

The resort area features vast land, a humid climate, and ancient geological formations. Within its grand mountains, both inside and out, lie boundless natural resources. The main scenic spots in the area are Xiangshan Mountain and Wangshimen Heavenly Village. Xiangshan is the highest peak in Laiwu District, standing proudly among the continuous mountain ranges of central Shandong, with its main peak reaching 918.7 meters. It earned its name from the abundance of fragrant herbs growing in the area. Xiangshan offers attractions such as the Jade Emperor Summit, Xiangshan Imperial Palace, and naturally formed wonders like “The Buddha Gazing at the Sky” and “Purple Clouds Watching the Moon.” Wangshimen Heavenly Village features a spectacular 10,000-meter-long ancient-style stone-paved walking trail modeled after the Great Wall; 300 acres of heavenly peonies, majestic and elegant; a 10,000-acre locust flower valley that resembles a snowy plain, fragrant and intoxicating; the Nine Heavens Gallery, where streams babble, vegetation thrives, and ancient trees, peculiar rocks, and waterfalls create a picturesque scene at every step, like a slowly unfurling vivid scroll. Reservoirs and ponds such as Tian Tan (Heavenly Pool), Tian Chi (Heavenly Lake), Shimen Lake, Tian Xia (Heavenly Gorge), and Xiang Tan (Fragrant Pool) sparkle like brilliant pearls, with rippling blue waters shining brightly.
